Thought I'd add some color to some sketches I had laying around.

I have tons of sketches all over the place, but I never have the time to really finish them the way I would like. This one is a quick compromise for a finished piece.

Sketch in my moleslone sketchbook.

The colored pencils I used were a little hard. I'd rather use a softer pencil , like Prismacolor,  for the smoother paper that the Moleskine sketchbook has.

I love mermaids. I thought my moleskine sketchbook needed one in it. 

Here I used acrylic paint over  my pencil drawing. I didn't want the colors to be very vibrant and cartoony, so I tried to keep the colors muted. I  think it worked.
